Currently weight training 3 times a week with cardio between. Looking to gain muscle and then go on a cardio crazy diet around the start of July.

Just wondering whether Creatine would be a worthy addition to my training, i.e. would it help me add size more rapidly?

Would be interested basically to hear people's experiences of it, good, bad, and indifferent.

will creatine help? - yes, the right one for you (mono/cee/creapure)
add mass rapidly? - no. outside of steroids its your best addition as a supplement though imo.

If you respond to mono it's very good. The boat is still out on cee, I think it worked for me, but imo it's inferior to mono. Gluconate is also worth a look.
creapure is mono ;).

protein powder is protein powder, there are still better ones per brand and manufacture ;]
so yes creapure is mono, but its more pure :]

well yeah, that's kinda academic though, main difference is that creapure's not made in china and therefore is less likely to contain bodyhair and bits of old chinese newspaper :p (that's meant to be a joke, but i've found eyelashes in CEE from MP before now :\)

I take CEE, Cell mass. Taste is amazing like, love it (arctic berry). Just take it twice a day one scoop. One in morning and one after workout.

Is it CEE that ruins your teeth? Does anyone know if normal creatine also ruins your teeth?

I've been weight training over a year now and am about to start cutting, thinking of supplementing with creatine to try and keep my strength up throughout the cut!

I did use it when i first started training (bog standard mono from MP) and all i noticed was that it made me retain water giving me a bloated look!

so have you now decided to bulk? :)

So Creatine - what's it actually for if it doesn't help add size more rapidly? Does it just boost the lifting performance by increasing the hydration of the muscles? If it boosts lifting performance then surely it would help add size?

Lol well erm yes I suppose so :), still don't think I can eat the necessary amount to bulk really well as it requires more chicken and tuna than I can stomach, but I'll give it a shot!

Anyway it's good to have some info on creatine and its side effects; potentially I'll leave it for this round of training and consider it in the future if it gets more serious.

Creatine (mono) is probably the most studied supplement out there for building muscle. Plenty of info on google, more than is worth typing here.

If you cannot eat more then tbh creatine wont really help you. get your diet sorted first :]

come on, muscle milk, cell mass? what's wrong with oats and whey or cee and water?

I didn't buy muscle milk, my m8 gave me half a tub of it, it was decent. Big woop anyway whos moneys it? mine, next your gonna give me a lecture about why I buy designer clothing such as versace and armani and not asda jeans and tesco value t-shirts.

Not everything on this forum is a personal attack on you! I think his comment was meant in jest. Or is it that you have made some quite outrageous claims with no proof so you are on the back-foot whenever someone talks to you?
