I want to make a clonezilla carbon copy of a harddrive in an old computer that is running a epos software called innopos.
The software isn't supported anymore and not available anywhere (we have no disk or anything).
So I know I can use clonezilla to make a carbon copy... but this will only work if the computer uses the same motherboard, ram ect when its restored correct?
Is is possible to protect myself from hardware failiure with a backup image as well?
Or would I be best trying to find a couple of spare parts that are the same?
