creating a crossfire setup

hey guys.
i have a his x1900xt and want to go crossfire. i know i need a crossfire mastercard.
is it right i can use any brand x1900xt or does it need to be a HIS?
i know i need the crossfire cable which i think i can get.

Seconded, you can get a 3850 512MB for around £110, so you'd be best off getting one of those. You might find it difficult to find a 1900 master card for crossfire

can get a master card for £70 inc so for £40 can get a 3850. will one of these be much better than xfire x1900's?

A 3850 512MB should be roughly twice as fast as an x1900s card

in crossfire tho?

also is there a decent site that has comparable benchmarks for many differing cards
