I'm using nVidia CP with my XFX 9700 GS + Samsung 226BW

Im trying to make a frag movie but i cant seem to get my counter-strike to run at 960x600

I can run it with my CRT becasue it supports a ton of resolutions as default... but my LCD simply wont have it

everytime i try to add a custom resolution on nvidia CP it wont have it.. "test failed"

anyone have a clue how to do this?

Thanks.

You could try adding the resolution directly into the driver:

-Extract your driver of choice to a temp directory
-Open up nv4_disp.inf in notepad
-Search for the string "NV_Modes"
-Input your new resolution in there after 640x480
-Save changes to the file and run setup.exe
-Reboot after driver install and see if your new res is available

a tft is never guaranteed to run a resolution that is forced in the drivers though. i know mine doesn't..... :)

(cheap tft here mind. i dare say a decent one would :p)
