Creating a game

For my media I have to come up with a new game

I want to do something like Call of Duty.. But it has to be different.

In was thinking of maybe setting it in London.. but I dont know what the game could be about.

Can anyone give me some ideas

or any sites that might help me

Sounds like Invasion! from 2000AD. Be good if Rebellion did that though after AvP3....be fun to be Bill Savage and run around London shooting those dirty Volgs!

You have a myriad of options from zombies to the apocalypse

Just set a basic premise and work from there

Alternatively rather than rose tinted fiction you could make a survival horror where you are a normal person in a country under some sort of affliction like Cloverfield, they are usually the easiest to flesh out as they can be based on your own/people you know reactions to something.

Lets not be too harsh, but you are not helping yourself by asking OcUK.

Why dont you get a list of your favourite games and the top sellers. Analyse what makes them great/your favourites/sell. Evaluate which of those great features realistically go together and form your game idea around that. Build your story from there..

I can't imagine you are going to get many marks by just having the end-game.

Damn homeworks changed, all I used to get were binomial expansion and quadratics. Feel like an old man..
