Creating a mail merge source file

Hi guys,

I need to make a source data file to produce a mail merge of a few hundred addresses. I've searched the net but can only find how to do a mail merge.. not how to make the data file it reads from.

Any help or links please?

You can do MM from a plain Excel file, or a simple access DB, or anything comlpex enough like an oracle database.

The question for you is how are you going to get the data into that format, type manually? export from another program?

Hi there,

I think I've got it sorted. Unfortunatly I have to type them all in manually (or train a monkey to do the job ).
