Creating a professional website

We have a sage system with over 1500 items, we need to design a website that will have all these products listed with pictures, and have numerous functions within the site, for example accounts for customers.

Which companies do people know of that can undertake this task?
Numerous online shopping sites for example, who designs those?

I have thought about possibly getting it made outside of the UK (India/Pakistan) but it may be more hassle that it's worth, any ideas?

I'd pick up a yellow pages and look for companies in your area, or use Google to find some local companies.

It's probably best to use a local company for something like this :)

Yeah, thats probbably an idea, although I want to find a company that will be able to do the job, not just talkers :rolleyes:
