Hi guys, I am attempting to create a wireless repeater / bridge, never done this before and it's proving to be more difficult than I thought it would be.
I'm using a Virgin Media Superhub in the living room. This is the 'basestation'.
I have a Belkin F5D7230-4 (Version 1010).
So my non-progress so far.
+ I have set both routers to operate on Channel 9. (I'm assuming they will need to share the same channel, since I want just one signal/frequency).
+ I have entered the WAN (Wireless Router) Mac of the Belkin, onto the Superhub and the WAN (Wireless Router) Mac of the Superhub onto the Belkin.
Desperately need help from a networking guru.
1. When I've successfully made the connection for the Belkin to act as a repeater, will just one wireless signal be present when searching? (Two are currently showing, one for each Router).
2. Where have I gone wrong and any steps on how to complete the process?
