hi all,
i'm toying with the idea of swapping out my 128gb SSD from my gaming PC into my Macbook pro and then using my Momentus XT as my main C: Drive in my PC. I know my SSD has a smaller capacity but my router (Netgear WNDR3800) has a ready share port which i can store my iTunes folder too etc so won't need much space on my mac.
But to do this i want to create an image of my current hard dive within my mac so i can then quickly swap over to the SSD and burn the image to it.
i know i can create an image using the utility program within the mac but does this create a full image of everything on my hard drive?
If not can someone point me in the direction of the best tool to use for what i'm wanting.
cheers
