creating business email

Hi , I have just set up my own company and am trying to set up email to have company name in it.

i know you can do this on google for free how do you do this ?

Sign up for a Google Apps account, purchase a domain through it, enable Gmail, Robert's your father's brother.

i have the domain already bought ?? but through go daddy ?

I've heard having an @AOL address is the way to go these days...

In all seriousness, exactly what Theophany says. You can then have a [email protected] address going through Gmail but it still looks like it's coming from your personalised address.

You can have multiple emails dropping into the same inbox as well, it's great!

Create your email address and then route it through Google. I did mine so long ago I can't actually remember how I did it but it can be done.

You could do a domain transfer.

I heard Google Apps isn't actually free for email anymore... but I'm not sure.

Yeah, I think they started charging for it a few months back. Still very good value for what you're getting though.
