Creating Something in Java

Well I keep trying to get back into programming since I left university...most of the time I just don't bother however I really need to.

I think the main problem is that I don't have anything to create.

Therefore I'm asking for any suggestions on creating something to keep me going.

Please?

You could make something interesting using the numerous API's like twitter, google maps, etc
Would get you back into the flow again.

Could try out projecteuler.net Its the same sort of idea as the OCUK programming challenge, you may find some of the earlier problems easier though.
