Creative 7.1 audio cable for X-Fi Xtreme Music

Hey,

I have an X-Fi Xtreme Music, and I want to use 7.1 speakers, but atm can only use 5.1 because there are only 3 analog outputs, the side speakers are split/shared over two ports, and apparently the only way to connect it up is with a Creative 7.1 4:3 audio cable which I can't find anywhere...I contacted them by email and they said to call a number, but I was wondering if anyone else knows of a solution to this?

How would that help with that cable? Not disagreeing that it would, just don't follow...

I currently run the front analog output into one of those, which i turn runs into a hi-fi system. That's fine.

Center/sub analog ---> 2.1 Speakers

Rear analog ---> 2.0 speakers

Leaving no outputs left for my 2.0 side speakers....I tried splitting the two analogs that the side ones use, but that just didn't work.

I actually have that cable you mention, but not sure how to connect it to achieve 7.1...I presume two of the RCAs can go directly into my hi-fi, but how would I connect the two l/r RCAs via the 3.5mm stereo adaptor for the others?

I foresee needing 3.5 stereo male/female converters....I presume the two green ones will go into my hi-fi, then if I convert two of the blue and two of the red into 3.5mm for my center/sub and rear speakers, then that will leave me with a red and a blue to connect together for my side speakers? How do I know which ones to leave, or does it matter?

If it's a hi-fi setup as opposed to normal 'PC' speakers then all 8 phonos should go in to the back of your receiver/amp and then the speakers obviously output from there as well.

Have you got any photos/pictures/diagrams of your current setup, specifically the input ports on the back of your amp/receiver?

Only my front speakers are the hi-fi setup, the others are all normal 'pc' speakers...

One set of hi-fi amp + 2 speakers (front)
One set of PC 2.1 speakers (1 stereo 3.5mm jack) (center/sub)
Two sets of PC 2.0 speakers (stereo 3.5mm) (rear and side)
 
Took me a min or two to work out the diagram, but I understand...yeah that's pretty much what I want...now the question is, where did I put that damn cable..I might have left it at uni...

Also, gna need 3x stereo RCA -> 3.5mm stereo adaptors and 2x 3.5mm stereo male/female (already have one)...******s here I come...
