This download is an application for use with Creative audio products. It restores 3D audio and EAX® effects for certain DirectSound®3D games in Microsoft® Windows Vista®.



* Added support for the following games:
o Beyond Good & Evil
o City of Heroes
o City of Villains
o Peter Jackson's King Kong
o Rayman Raving Rabbids
o Star Wars® Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
o The Witcher
o Titan Quest: Immortal Throne
o Universe at War: Earth Assault
o Warhammer®: Mark of Chaos

Fixes:

* Enables the DirectSound3D game audio to be processed by your Sound Blaster audio device to deliver EAX effects, 3D audio spatialization, sample rate conversion and hardware audio mixing. Without this, most DirectSound3D games will be reduced to stereo output without any EAX effects.
* Improves 3D audio processing for host-based Sound Blaster audio devices.

i gave in and moved back to XP64, perfect sound in games and i get better fps now too

be useful if the software had a scanner rarther then having to set up the games manualy. not to mention the update cleared the list of games i had already set alchemy up with.

Also the creative applications pack was updated so we have the volume panel now and mode switcher.

Is The Witcher 'fixed' now? I used a version of Alchemy about 9 months ago or so now and when EAX was enabled in The Witcher it sounded, from what I recall, rather reverby and pretty pants!
