Anyone have any experience with this? I need it for my laptop as the built-in sound card is terrible. I need USB2.0, 5.1 surround sound support and generally for it to be reliable. I'm also having trouble finding online retailers of this product. OcUK or its competitors do not stock it, even the official creative site is out of stock so I'm turning to buying refurbished ones from an auction site.
Are there any newer alternatives to this? I have to say I am surprised by its lack of availability online and so worries me that it's out of date or something.
