Creative Audigy 4 - Broken?

About two weeks ago I knocked my sound card (audigy 4 7.1) on the floor while it was lying on the desk. Since then the sound regually cuts out and I hear a high pitched noise and I have to restart my PC to get it working again, my onboard sound works fine however.

At first I thought it could be the Vista drivers playing up but Ive tried the new drivers released yesterday and Ive got the exact same problem. Does it look like the card is dead, and will I be able to RMA it? I only bought it in September.

If it's not physically broken, I would have thought that you would have no problem with the RMA. I'd go for it, as you can use onboard in the meantime.

Can you try it in another computer first? Although it does sound like RMA time.
Good luck I hate sound cards when they go wrong.
