creative drive bay thing and xfi

Yes it will work fine :)

Obviously the X-Fi dosent have the firewire header but you can always hook this up to a mobo header if you need it.
 
Beware, some bays do not work with newer cards, I aint going to say too much as cannot remember and dont want to give you misinfo, you can find answers on Creatives forums as its asked all the time.
 
Ah right didnt know there were some problems but i know that the audigy 2 zs black bay is ok with the X-Fi music as thats the combo i used in my old rig.
 
Sorry for being slightly off topic :o Is there any way of modding an external Audigy 1 breakout box so I can cable it internally to an Xfi (i.e. using standard IDE ribbon cable)? Because currently I've modded the box to fit internally, but have the bloody great thick cable running out the front round to the back :\
 
I have the extreme Audio XFI - and have been sent the Fatal1ty drive bay from the bay without the adlink cable to connect em?

Any ideas (I dont have an open ended ide cable)

Pref option is a genuine adlink..........

The extreme audio dosent have the connectors to link to the expansion bays
