So, I've got the upgrade bug.
I'm currently using a Creative Fatal1ty headset. It's not bad, reasonably comfortable (but not brilliantly so), with ok sound and an alright mic. For the £35 or whatever I paid for it 3 or 4 years ago, it's served me very well and is still going strong, but I've found myself hankering after a change.
I've done a bit of reading around the subject, and discounted a bunch of potential replacements, and it looks like the best combination of quality, comfort and cost might be the Steelseries Siberia v2. I've got a pair of steelseries flux for use with my iphone and the sound quality is awesome and the headphones comfortable, so I'm quite fond of the brand.
So, is there a great difference between my aging fatal1tys and the siberia v2? They'll be used for playing games, in the main, with the odd bit of music now and then. The mic will be used for TS in my fortnightly GW2 sessions, but not much more than that.
So, scratch the upgrade itch? Or save my money for something more worthwhile?
