Creative G5 Dead or Stubborn?

Bought the Creative G5 the other week, finally got round to using it. Hazzah the sound was terrific.

Now a few hours later I return to find that the G5 produces no output sound, zero. I checked the sound settings while it is picking up my mic and the sound bars are moving it's just not giving sound.

I've tried removing software, drivers, reinstalling etc. Even tried it on a laptop same result. Now what are the chances of something to just stop working in such a short period of time of being plugged in? :mad:

PS: I'm able to still use the G5 as a mic input, which makes it all the more confusing.

Just to double check its set to the default sound out put in windows?

Yeah, when I change the hz in the settings then I try to play a sound I'll hear a switching flick sound for a millisecond then nothing.

As you've tried it on two PC I think its RMA time.
