Creative Gigaworks G500 5.1 - Power Cutting out ?

Hi

Had these speakers for a few years and have recently had some problems with them. The power to the amp keeps cutting out and the only way to get it to work again is to leave it off for a while. This wasnt too bad but recently its got a lot worse and often i cant get it to work at all.

I have taken the amp/power boards off the unit but cant see any obvious problems does anyone have any ideas ? Perhaps someone this is a common problem and there is an easy fix *hopes*

Just completed this. The old paste had not dried though so im not sure how effective its going to be. Seem to have found another fix which worked last night for 5 + hours of pretty loud tunes and that is pointing a fan towards it
