Does anyone have any opinion of these speakers?

From Creative's website:
"Creative® GigaWorks™ ProGamer G550W wireless speakers are the THX® Certified solution for ultimate 5.1 audio on the PC. Ideal for gaming, home theatre, PC use and MP3 listening, they offer maximum convenience by eliminating untidy surround cables to the rear satellites."

These sound just the ticket for me - wireless rears - as I don't want cables running all over the back of the room.

Umm, if those work like the Logitech, then the back speakers would still be powered by mains. You can't expect anything decent (even by multimedia speaker standards) any other way really.

Thanks - after some research I've settled on Logitech Z-5500. I'll just have to find a way to route the wires tidily.
