Moving into a house soon and will have the 3rd bedroom as my office. With it being offest from next door i can crank it up a tad.

Now i dont want a seperates system for space reasons and also all of my music is on mp3 i dont have any cd's, so what i was thinking was whacking a decent sound card in my system as i have onboard now and buying a good set of pc speakers.

I have had 2.1 before and found the sub over boomy and it just shakes the entire flat. I dont really want that here and so was looking at the Creative Gigaworks T20 however im unsure how good they are? Or should i stick to a 2.1?

Don't have personal experience, but I have read some very good reviews on these. Apparently, they sound better than the 2.0s they are. They'll probably be the speakers I buy myself, as I don't have the room for surround either.

I don't want to link to reviews as they probably have ads for competitors, but have a quick search :)

I bought a pair today but haven't had the chance to try them out yet. I read a lot of reviews and all spoke very highly.

It's worth knowing that you can get £10 cash-back from Creative at the moment (and they can be had for £44.99 before cash-back too!)

I cant really ask on here about any of that, the price i understand but the cash back isnt mentioned anywhere, not even on their site.

/edit

Yep, the promotion is advertised on Creative UK's site and is not competitor-risky due to the fact that, as far as I can see, it applies no matter where you bought the speakers, OcUk or otherwise.

Anyway, glad you've found it.

I've just bought a pair of these today, seem good so far - much better than my old yamaha speakers. Great build quality, but i find the little power LED a bit bright though!

By the way, can anyone point me to the £10 cash-back offer? I cant seem to find it on the Creative website - thanks! :)

Well, mine went back to the shop today.

Having read so many positive reviews about these speakers, I think I probably expected too much. Ultimately I was disappointed, the (lack of) bass simply did nothing for me.

Think I'll look around for a decent 2.1 set - anyone got any experience of the Soundsticks?
