The usual £29.99 has been reduced to an outrageous £22.98. This pricing will not last forever on such a popular product so get orders in to secure your set.

In addition to this, I have a very small quantity of the Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Alpha sets coming in. This price is for pre-orders only until the stock lands any day now.

Excellent deal on the HS-800. I've had one for years and it's a great bit of kit. Not the best audio quality ever, but it does punch well above it's weight, and the adjustable mic is brilliant. Oh, and it's nice and comfy.

its a storming deal whilst we have current stock but it certainly will not hold on for long. these fly off the shelves even at the old price!

I managed to pick one up for £15 delivered ages ago and it's been OK. Very comfy I admit, but the sound quality was always a bit 'murky'. Almost like too much bass. Definately have to turn the bass down to get them to sound reasonable. I certainly would not pay anything like £30 for them, £20-£25 is about the right price for them IMO, they really are nothing to write home about.

I have just bought a pair of Plantronics 367's but I suspect they won't be that much better. Just bought them from a friend on a whim.

Just thought of something... I've 'tugged' accidently on the cord a fair few times of the Fatal1ty's and they are still going strong.. and very reliable. Apart from the signature rubbing off very slightly, they are in very good condition, and have held up over three different houses in that time.

Crumbs actually, I just looked it up... EXACTLY three year's today I bought these headphones.

Lastly.. looking at the model number, it doens't ring any bells.. as mine are 'Fatal1ty Gamer' and I don't remember a reference to HS-800 tbh, so the HS800 could be uprated versions? (Can anyone confirm this?)

the hs 800s are an update as far as i know.

Just been doing a back to back test in BF3 with the creatives vs the plantronics.. and have to be honest, I prefer the more bass influenced sound of the creatives, over the brighter noise of the plantronics. Still think they need toning down a bit, but once you've done that... they sound good/ok. They are also more comfortable to listen to... which is a good thing. If the HS-800's sound better than the original's then these are a good deal :-)

no one has mentioned much about the creative sigmas. Are they any good? A friend uses a pair for bf3 and he says they are decent, but in my experience most people tend to rate the hardware they currently use!

So how are the Creative tactics?
