So unfortunately my trusty Creative Itrigue 3500 2.1 speakers have started to fail on me and I replaced them with Bose Companion 3 2.1 speakers which I had laying around.
Whilst the Bose sports some pretty hefty base, I found the sound from the speaker quite tinny and not a lot of body coming from them.

I have seen several threads on here with some folk sporting some quite chunky speakers.

Whilst I would love to own something similar, I am not looking for something that powerful as my office is directly above where my 1 year old twins room is, so come evening I am certainly not able to take full advantage of such speakers!

So :) I would be grateful for any recommendations for 2.1 speakers which are of similar ilk to what I previously owned, any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks folks :)

Yes something along those lines.
Sorry for being dim. 2.1 I thought meant two speakers and a woofer. Isnt this what the link you provided is?

I noticed these are BT connected. Wonder if they come wired (not too keen on wireless).

Yes you asked for 2.1 and only the top link is 2.1, the rest are 2.0 which you may not want but some of the bigger ones can have good bass and may not need a Sub.

If you scroll to bottom you can see Specs and included items so would seem you can wire them and even get some kind of 5.1 sound from them.

Thanks b00merang.

Which of the big creative labs ones you reckon I could get away without a sub?

(incidentally, I am open to other brands realistically around £100 mark but could stretch more).

The T6 does seem cool but seems to be end of life product?

They are all old but the T40's got a good name and I think the is T40 II (Mk 2's).

IMO you may be better doing some looking at other brands but today there is not many too good PC setups its mainly bookshelf type.

I own Logitech Z906 5.1's which again are getting on but they are ok for games/movies not the best for audio.
