Creative Inspire P5800 any good

Hate to say it but im a bit of a Creative fanboy as ive had 3 systems over the years and had not a single problem.
I dropped a hint to the wife that i wouldnt mind a new set but i made the unfortunate error of saying that "its not that important really", as a woman she took this as "he only wants the XFi and the other bits on his Xmas list" but as all blokes know i meant " i want the speakers as well".
I dont want to upset her as she asked if i want a 8800gtx and 20" widescreen for my birthday.
