Creative Pebble Pro - Anyone own these?

I have an older PC with only USB-A sockets so the plan would be to connect the speakers:-
Audio --> PC USB-A
Power --> USB-C PD adapter

My question is, if/when the PC is turned off, would the speakers go into standby? Or just sit there on 24/7 because they are connected to a dedicated USB-C PD adapter, even though the PC is off?

I have the V3. If you want me to conduct an experiment I will. I'm not sure how you can channel sound via usbA though ? Wouldn't you need a 3.5 audio lead?

The pro has two USB-C connections, one for power and audio, and a second dedicated for 30W power of USB-C PD. So it's different to the V3 I believe.

Out of interest, do you power your V3 from a USB-C or USB-A socket?

The V3 can literally be powered just by my phone battery if the USB C is inserted directly into the phone for power.

However, if you plug USB C lead in to a charger and connect that directly to the speakers whilst using Bluetooth, the performance is a lot better e.g. Richer sound and bass.
