Creative sent me a replacement sub woofer...

Only problem is, after they shipped it, the original one started working again. So now I have two.

What can I do with this spare one? Is it just a normal sub woofer, or can it only be used with Inspire T6100 speakers?

If it can be used with any set of speakers I may as well sell it. But I don't know if it can be used with other speakers. :confused:

Any ideas?

Nah. I asked about that and they said they're just going to send me a new one.

oh cool. well im guessing it should work with other speakers but it may need the volume control thing or something to turn it on.

I don't think it will work because the 6100 speakers all plug into the actual subwoofer and nothing else.

You'll have to use speakers that have the same connectors as the rest of the 6100 speakers I'm guessing to use it.

Well on the back on the sub they're just RCA plugs for left, right and center. I think any RCA speakers would work. But the front right speaker (the one w/ volume and headphone jack) has a different connection. It's not RCA, it's got pins on the connector/socket.

Well I don't know what I'm going to do with it if I can't sell it, lol.

This might be a long shot but keep the newer one. Your older one might flip out again possibly due to bad wiring (??)
