Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE 7.1

I'm wondering if it should get this. Right now im using on board sound realtek jobby which sucks. I'm a heavy gamer and i listen to music on my pc but i am on a budget so i was wondering if this would be an improvement in games(bf2etc) and music quality.

What are your opinions ? Should i go for it or is there another alternative around the same price? Keep in mind i got a subwoofer and 2 speakers only.

I have one of these stashed away somewhere, when I did use it I was very happy with it so I would say go for it

Oh and stay away from the Audigy LS, its not an audigy but a hacked sblive and afaik its not even a true hardware encoder or whatever... true audigys are hardware all the way

Thanks for the reply mate. What im worried about is my 2 speakers holding me back. I'm scared that it will sound the same as my realtek 7.1 lol
