For anyone interested, Just bought one of these & the difference in sound from before is amazing. I keep playing with the conrtol to turn off & on the crystaliser thingo to see the difference between mp3's & movies I play regularly & it really does make a great difference.
Music sounds so much more defined, the drum beats are awesome they have much more clarity & depth. I have a pretty good speaker setup through an Cambridge Audio A5 amp, now it blows me away & I'm really getting my money's worth from my music. Would highly recommend to anyone considering.
One thing I'm unsure of though is does this soundcard provide any hardware acceleration for gaming?
