Creative Sound Blaster X3 or X4 to Kef LSX

Looking at consolidating some kit, which means selling off X99-S motherboard, 5280K CPU and 1660 GFX card. I'll be moving to a Dell Optiplex 7060 micro system. I play a lot of music from my PC with circa 800GB iTunes library. What is nice atm is that my X99-S has a toslink output, so it's wired into my Kef LSX speakers.

What I'm looking for is a USB to toslink device and that doesn't DAC the output etc. Current thoughts is the X3 or maybe the X4 from Creative.

Thoughts on these items?

Topping D10S Mini DAC - it has USB in and passes that to SPDF Optical and Coax out - £98 on Amazon

Watched Darko youtube on this and have ordered one. Got a CA Dagmagic too, but unfortunately it doesn't have digital out. Might wire that into my Audiolab 8000A downstairs for my Sonos Port.
