As the title really, what is better out of "Creative Soundblaster Audiology ZS 2" an and A "Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi XtremeMusic/PCI 24bit CMSS 3D Surround sound card".

I have the option of these two cards for the same money, as far as im aware the Audiology ZS 2 is no longer made/sold?

Its going to mainly be used for games and a bit of music here and there, I have an existing creative 5.1 system i would like to use.

Any pointers etc appreciated.
 
X-Fi all the way I'd have said?

The Audigy 2 is a decent card and better than most onboard sound, but the X-Fi is a next gen card and is better than the Audigy 2.

If you are being offered either for the same price, it's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned!! ;)
 
For the same money? X-Fi everytime. Even if the X-Fi was more expensive, I would still get one over an Audigy 2. You won't be disappointed :)
