Purchased a set for £79.00 last week, run them in now and must say I’m impressed, compared to the T20s they are a nice improvement both in terms of Bass and general sound separation, so if you’re in the market for 2.0 set up, well they get a thumbs up from me. 
Best of all unlike the T20s; the blue power LED does not emit the light source of a supernova, instead T40's have nice a subtle washed out blue LED. Only major gripe is that Creative decided to mount power on/off switch at the back of right speaker, T20's turn off via volume knob so don’t know why they changed that part of the design. 
T20s will now be my travel speakers from now on.
