Creative T7900 sub not working

Hey guys, got a Creative T7900 7.1 speaker set and all of a sudden the sub's not working. All the connections are fine and all the satellites work fine but the speaker on the sub is doing nothing. Is it a hardware or software issue, and what can I do to check?

I've reinstalled the SB software and had a peak inside the sub but to no avail.
