creative update 1809

I downloaded the update, but after the download it was supposed to give me the option to reboot, but it did not. So I had a look in view update history, and the update is there, but telling me to reboot. Rebooted, nothing happened, any ideas. Thanks

The only AV I have is the Microsoft one.

You have enough space?...try Disk Cleanup in File Explorer, check your drive https://neosmart.net/wiki/chkdsk/#CHKDSK_in_Windows_10

Tried that to no avail.

I have given up with it, as Microsoft have pulled it. As I said, I can see it in Update history. But, if I click on Uninstall an update, it does not show on the list to delete. Any ideas

ended up doing a restore to a time before it was downloaded.
