My soundblaster x-fi platinum has the wide spread crackling sound problems as if there is interferance. Since this card is kinda old i wanna ask if this problem has been resolved with the newer ones? I found out what the problem was with mine and that was the cable that connects the card with the external I/O bay which is crap. Creative sent me another which was exactly the same so no happy moments there. I have to keep the I/O disconnected at all times.

Latest drivers should have solved that, there was New Betas out on 2nd June there.
