If you have the PCI X-Fi and the 5.25 inch bay then all you need for it to work is the IDE type cable that connects them together :)
 
Got the full Fatal1ty X-Fi back when it was released likes years ago! - runs perfectly - including in Windows 7.

All you need is the IDE type cable as mentioned above and a floppy-drive type power connection (from your PSU ;) )
 
Great thanks, I can't get the remote control working though. I can't find any drivers for it either. Is that a 7 thing??? I know Creative doesn't like it too much.
 
The Remote control thingy is rubbish.
However you need the software for that too.

I would not bother with it myself.
