Creative X-Fi Titanium Problem

Hi, I am having some trouble with this card, my headset which is a creative HS800 fatal1ty is connected to the front panel and whenever I use skype and play a game all the sound from the game is heard by other people along with my voice it seems to be recording my voice and the game sound, also depending on how loud I have the volume of the headset I can hear my self through the headset. I tried using the skype call test and I wouldnt say my voice sounds too clear either it gives me the "Your mic is too loud" message. What can I try to fix this problem?

Have you tried using the sockets on the card directly?

Just tried that, i have the same result, game sound still comes through on the microphone.

Edit: I noticed there is a "What U Hear" and Microphone option in skype, what is "What U Hear"?

It's the Creative SB X-Fi Default Communications Device, in the sound/ recording properties. Click on the speaker icon in system tray and try changing settings. I'm on windows 7 x64 at the moment and there are lots of devices to choose and set up, maybe you might find a remedy in there?.
