I recently got an X-Fi Xtreme Music card (£35 ) and have been very happy with it.
However, whenever i use Windows media Player there is no sound - there is sound output for every other application on my computer (winamp, itunes, etc).
I had Windows Media Player 11 beta installed - no sound, and then rolled back to Windows Media Player 10 - still no sound.
I have installed the latest creative drivers (2.09.0001), is there a known conflict with these products?
I have also ensured that the mute button isn't on , also Windows Media Player worked before i installed the new sound card.
Has anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?
Thanks
