creative zen (how to remove music from it using a program/windows)

I have an old creative zen touch which is packed with songs i bought from play.com, amazon etc. All the songs were on my old dell that went bye bye many yonks ago lol Is there ANYWAY i can get the songs off it? I have a new computer now (windows 7). The zen doesnt support W7 only xp (maybe vista) is there anyway i can turn the zen into some sort of a hard drive and pull the music off it? I remmber i did something similer with my old ipod years ago. ANy one know?

I've got a Zen stone/pebble thing and it connects with a mini-usb and you can use it like a flash drive.

Isn't the touch the same?

I dont remember anything like that. I seem to remmber jyst getting a mini-usb cable , a case and headphones with it (and a cd)

I've never had to install anything to use mine. Any computer I plug it into just sees it as a storage drive as if I'd plugged in a memory stick.

hmm strange. maybe where the zen touch doesnt support windows 7

You may have to update the firmware on the Zen. I have one and it had some propriatory software that wouldn't install on W7 x64. But then I update the firmware to the latest version and it just appeared as a drive and all was well.
