Creative Zen Micro player warranty.

I have a Creative Zen Micro player, but it was dropped by my niece and now it cuts out unless you move the headphone jack a bit. The player has a little crack on its side, obviously where it impacted, so what can be done? Anything?

Its around a year old, would Creative replace it or would I be able to claim on household insurance?

I'd love to get a working one again.
