I'm trying to copy my music off of my old creative zen onto my phone which i intend to use as my mp3 player but I'm having problems getting it connected to my pc.
When connected to the PC the screen flashses between the normal screen and docked, and nothing shows up in my computer (this is on vista). On my laptop running XP the zen screen shows docked, and stays showing that, and it is listed in my computer as an audio device, which when opened shows the music files. Problem is, as soon as i explore the device, that window becomes extremely laggy (rest of the system/windows is still responsive), and when i right click a file i only have 2 options, delete or properties. Properties shows that the file can't be played from this location and must be copied first, but drag and drop will not let me move or copy any files.
Does anyone know the solution to this? both to why its not connecting correctly on my vista pc, and why the explorer window becomes so laggy and unresponsive on my laptop and refuses to allow transfers.
