So I reinstalled Windows XP and came to setting up my Zen touch so I could transfer songs.
My player has the latest 2.11.01 playforsure firmware.
I dont have the original disc anymore and anyway I suspect the drivers on it would be vastly out of date and possibly incompatible with the firmware it has now. So I downloaded the drivers from the creative site and they seem to install OK.
Plugging the player in on USB, I get the little bubble appear at the bottom saying 'New hardware found : Creative Zen Touch"
Then it tries to install the drivers and the problems begin. It just cant seem to find them and does the 'there was a problem blah blah blah... drivers could not be found blah blah'.
I have tried doing 'install from a specific location' and pointing to various directories where I think they might be, including the 'jukebox 3 drivers' directory the creative installer made, but no joy.
Any ideas?
Is there any way to find out what file it it is actualy looking for so i can search for it?
