Creative Zen VISION?

The misses wants one of these for Christmas, and i was wondering how easy/quick it is at converting the TV eps you can d/l. I dont wonna be running all the avi's through virtualdub etc, just to get it to play properly. Does it come with an automatic video converter that does it all for you?

shouldnt have to convert anything mate. the VISION:M anyway plays almost all file formats, I assume its the M that your refering to.

The avi's are quite large tho, like 640x350 widescreen, would it still play them ok, does it downscale, or will i have to change them to the pixel size of the screen?

it should downscale em, as far as I know there is no manipulation required, just copy em on and go. This is the reason I am getting one next month!

Don't need to change a thing mate, they play perfectly well, just copy over and play.

AVIs should play straight off, mine does anyway

THe only ones oyu should have bother with is WMV and old MPEGs as it plays DivX codecs too
