hi I have attempted to update to the creators update for windows 10 and I have had no success what so ever, I must have tried at least 10 times now, but it always gets stuck on install at 32% or black screen for hours on end at which point I end up restarting and it rolling back to previous version of windows, I have tried disabling antivirus ect firewall disabling other software to no avail, usb only has keyboard mouse ect no usb drives or storage, only to find that windows update has not or wont even install the update KB4013214 which is a prerequisite to creators update, then I couldn't even find that update on there archive list either then apparently I need to install update 5583 before that which also isn't in my update list or on Microsoft web site, and to top it all off my partners laptop updated flawlessly using windows upgrade assistant, (which I also tried about 10 times) I have tried windows update fixing tool which did find errors then fixed them only to find they are back after a reset, also did sfc /scannow no problems, and dsim tool no problems, I haven't tried the media creation tool though as I don't believe it is necessary to do that in case of more problems, I have win 10 pro vers 1607 running at the mo os build 14393.1066 on i7 3770k 16gb ddr3 1800 and GeForce 1070 gcard, I always keep my system clean and running well so a bit miffed at the mo, so I assume I cant run the windows upgrade assistant without KB4013214.....
