Thats your problem, yes you may have good credit, however they don't actually have any proof of you paying back any other credit.

Basically what I'm saying is for example if you wanted to borrow 10k off me, I would want to make sure that you will pay me back, it doesn't matter that you earn 80k a year and are never overdrawn, it matters that you've never had credit therefore it's not that you CAN pay it back it's if you WILL pay it back.
 
The only reason to use a credit card is if you don't feel secure lugging cash about and you are concerned about fraud.

Credit card transactions can be reversed if it's found that payments have been made by someone else using your details. Ask your bank a lot of questions about what protection they can give.
