John Lewis are changing their Credit Card provider to NewDay. I like the new app and all, but it doesn't sync with my finance software, so I was wondering if I should get a Monzo or Revolut account.

I have a Barclaycard, but don't use it as it won't work through Google Pay. I think I have an MBNA CC somewhere...

What are the best options at the moment? Ideally with a decent app and the ability to link into Google Pay. I don't really have any need for a physical card.

I have a Newday card (Amazon Platinum) and it won't work through Apple pay. Not sure about Google.
Yeah, it works with Google Pay, just annoying I have to manually add transactions into my finance software. It's not a huge hassle, but did get me thinking if there was something better anyway.
it's such a faff when you find a retailer than doesn't accept them.
I guess this would be my concern too.

I'm not sure what 'high rate' is these days. I think mine is about 19%? I know that used to be high, but these days... I assume things have gone up?

It's interesting that since I last looked for a CC (I guess 20+ years ago) it is now seen more as a 'rewards for spending' thing, than a 'borrow some money for a couple of months' thing? It used to be ALL about the APR, but yes, I saw that AMEX one at 400+ % (did I see one at 600+?) which is apparently fine due to the rewards?
