Credit report

I've been on it since they started beta testing - essentially they make money from products they present to you, rather than you paying an annual fee. Ronseal.

Noodle is part of CallCredit, the people that do MyCallCredit.

It wont be as good as Experian as not as many financial institutes report to them in as would to Experian and Equifax - For me, I've got nothing showing for CallCredit, 5/6 accounts on Experian and 6/6 on Equifax. I pay for full access to the Experian and Equifax, I cancelled my subscription to MyCallCredit.

Every bit of credit I've had and have shows on Noddle. Strange that it doesn't for you...

Just tried Noddle, it says I have a great credit rating so it must be a decent site!

Amirite?

Hmmm a little worried about the security of their site.

Signed up a while back. Tried to sign in today but I've forgetten my PW.

Have gone through the forgetten password process x times now and have yet to recieve and email from them.

Not only that but the memorable question keeps changing lol.... When signing up they give you the option to select 1 of 3/4 questions. So far I think I've answered all of them.

they cant verify im me :(

i think its because they dont let me put my address in my self and my postcode gives the wrong address by default :(

191 mulberry court
ocuk street

it thinks im
191 ocuk street
mulberry

when in reality thats not a real address

Says my credit rating is poor. Even though I have had loans fully paid in my name, mobile phone, electoral roll etc.

Will have to double check with experian now though, has got me a bit worried.

I've never seen my credit rating and while I'm great with meny, I fear I might be too good so there won't be much data on me and therefore not a great score.

So what is currently the best way to get a credit report that is reliable and would most likely match what people who check your reports see? I'd rather not sign up to a free trail and then struggle to cancel it. I also have a couple of questions:

1) Why on earth are there a few different companies that handle this data? If credit agencies each submit data to different companies, your score is most likely different on all three. Plus, to ensure your rating is correct, you'd personally have to review each report and speak which each company to make amendments? Surely this kind of thing should be handled by a single company, like medical records?

2) Why do these companies make it so hard for you to check your report every once in a while? Surely the vast majority of people wouldn't want a monthly report and therefore have no need for a subscription?
