Crest whitening strips

I thought that was a scale and polish which just gets rid of plaque and cleans the teeth rather than actually whiten them, now usually done by a dental hygienist. Generally dentists make up trays and give you bleach to take home and use or do laser whitening, both of which are a few hundred quid.

As a fellow smoker i've tried a lot of whitening products with little sucess. My wife bought me this tooth whitener and i've found works brilliantly. Notable results after 3 applications and no tooth/gum sensitivity.

I tried something which looked like these (admittedly they were probably not these exact ones - but can't remember the brand) and unfortunately I did not notice any improvement.
I am not a smoker or drinker, and my teeth are not really that yellow they're just not nice and white. I had high hopes but at least for me they weren't much good.
Good prices there, which ones did you go for ?

They are great! I only used about 8 days worth (out of 14) as my teeth weren't that bad to start with and I didn't want to look like Simon Cowell
Never had a problem and just used them at night while I watched TV. Didn't have a spare 30mins in the mornings so just stuck to once a day at night.
Girlfriend borrowed the remaining strips and was in agony after about 5 mins of her first strip. She does have to brush her teeth with sensodyne though because her teeth are so sensitive.
Definitely get some, I've had it mentioned to me quite a few times how white my teeth look.

How do they work is it hydrogen peroxide?
it's either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, I really can't be bothered checking
