Not too sure if this is even worth posting here but i'm a bit miffed about what happened.

So I went to Liverpool airport today to pick mum up as she was coming from from Paris. There was fog at Paris (CDG) and she got delayed an hour or so..

So I decided to drive round to the end of the runway where I sat in my car and had some food.. blahblah.. was waiting there, using my iphone when 2 police vans went past.. one turned round near me and the other disappeared came back and parked up next to me..

He opened my door and started talking to me saying about "drug problems in this area" (bare in mind this isnt the most affluent of areas) and he then asked me if i was 'involved in drugs' which I was a bit miffed at... it's not as if i was covered in nike/addidas or have a scousce accent :p - although, I was in a Citroen Saxo :o (the 1.6 VTR model) and being 18 he asked me for my drivers licence and if it was a 'full licence' - had it, gave it to em and started writing stuff down from it. Asked me if I was insured??? parents did it all so i wasn't too sure which company it was with.. then he said something like "you're not having me on are you?" :confused: While he did this another guy went round the car looking at it rather suspiciously..

Anyway..... after that he asked me to sign this form thing he had been writing on so I did without asking :o Then he just got back in the van and drove off....

So I was wondering what exactly did I sign? was it for a quota/stats or something? Just curious really as I know you shouldn't sign anything without knowing 100% what it is.... was a nice guy - made some small talk and said "I think you're all right" after realising I probabaly didn't fit the drug user sterotype of that area :p

Thats why you got Rozzered, you should have read what you were signing though, ring the local pig pen and ask whargwarn and demand the officers name and number
 
its the form that allows them to add 5 points onto your drivers license if you dont take your insurance details down to the station he told you about

or at the very least, read the damn paper before signing it. hahahaha
 
Most likely it was Form 5090. Form filled in by police officers when conducting a 'Stop and Account' or 'Stop and Search'. If you or your car was searched in anyway he would have filled it in as though it were a search, if he didn't then mostly likely an account (unless he needed to boost his search figures then he would probably have put it down as that).

Nothing to worry about.

It's this ridiculous day and age when a police officer cannot ask someone what they are doing without having to fill in a form.
 
OT - I read the thread title in the style of James May's voice in my head! Must be subconsciously looking forward to the new series of Top Gear or something.
 
Wouldn't worry about it too much, maybe phone the local police office and ask.

Happened to me quite a lot (getting pulled, not signing things I don't read) but just part of the parcel driving a chav image car at a young age. Espically when you have a blown exhaust - erm no officer theres no hole in it, the headgasket.
