I just saw this article and couldn't believe what I read, a women thought she could pay mermaids to help get back her stolen car.
She lost £17,000 paying them for power generators and accomodation to look for the car which was taken in 2004. This was probably more than what the car was worth in the first place.

I don't know how anyone could be stupid enough to think that mermaids would find their car.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Seriously, no way can someone in their right mind believe that :

a) Mermaids Exist
b) They could find their stolen car
c) Would, if by some miracle they did exist, find her car.

Oh well, as long as we have people like this we will continue to get scammers

I think I'll offer her a valetting service to get rid of the smell of fish when she gets her car back!, how much do you recon we could charge?

Humm, harrr.....

I would say, £3000 for hiring some monkeys, then £3500 to clear up after them, and £4500 to actually put a little pine tree air freshener in.

Grand total: £10000 - pine tree airfreshener.

Think that is reasonable, and we get to play around with monkeys :D
