Got my cousins wedding soon and I'm wearing a blue to navy suit
Ie it's not blue and it's not navy

I'm assuming this is a brown shoe deal

I'm hoping it's fine to be anywhere from tan to Chestnut?

I have no shoes and am thus buying some.
Was thinking of going with these..

Going with what? And navy is a shade of blue. So if it's navy, it's blue.
You're saying it's not navy and not blue so is that...black? Grey? White?

Pic appeared at last...they look red to me! Also wouldn't go buckle for a wedding. I'd go lace every time.

Yeah the number of ***** I see trying to pair blue jacket and tan trousers with blue shoes.... its moronic.

Blue jacket, tan trousers and brown shoes is the only way.

I class navy as very dark blue and blue as bright blue
What I have is something half way.

Tan brogues.

I think this choice too

Yup, tan is fashionable and goes with navy & dark blue.

Sometimes if I want some inspiration I go to a menswear site and look at the outfits the models are wearing to see what goes with what thats perhaps a bit different.

I like going here:

A few of the blue suits have models with brown, ox blood even grey suede loafers if you're adventurous.

Depending on the exact shade of blue you can wear black shoes but IMO a tan brown will look better. For me personally I have yet to find brown Oxfords I really like sonhave stuck to Brogues but it is a personal preference.

A blue suit? I think I can taste a little sick in my mouth. Anyway, there's only real option to go for with a blue suit, a pair of red brothel creepers.

I expect he means more navy/indigo than one of your 'Recruitment Consultant special' royal blue jobbies! Better than black anyway, he'd look like a waiter/undertaker.
